Our Mission.

PulseCheck offers practical, culturally competent, trauma-informed tools to help public safety professionals check in with themselves, process their experiences, and maintain mental health and operational readiness.

Our Vision.

A future where public safety professionals are supported as whole people, with space to reflect, recover, and continue serving with clarity and purpose.

Our Purpose.

PulseCheck was founded by a career paramedic who spent decades inside the daily rhythm of emergency response. Over time, it became clear that while the job demands constant readiness, strength, and composure it rarely makes space for responders to pause, process, or check-in with themselves. Stress is normalized, difficult calls are set aside, and the expectation is always to move on to the next call.

PulseCheck grew out of a simple but urgent question. What if checking in on your mental health was as routine as checking your gear? Built specifically for fire and EMS professionals, PulseCheck was designed to be practical, private, and culturally competent with tools that fit the realities of shift work, station life, and repeated exposure to difficult calls.

From guided check-ins and shift debriefs to grounding tools and reflective practices, PulseCheck was created to support responders where they are without judgment or diagnosis. The goal was never to fix or transform anyone but to offer a steady place to pause, notice, and carry the weight of the work with greater clarity and care.
